Is it Really possible to have it all in marriage, business, and motherhood? - She is Uncompromising Book Review: Tatum Temia Season 2 Episode 8

This book review is focusing on Tatum Temia's She is Uncompromising. The Mom Bar has a quarterly highlight of BIPOC Christian women based authors to enhance the conversation and bring to the forefront the voices that are sometimes most marginalized in the Christian community. Tatum Temia is a mother, wife, CEO, and so much more, in her second book release she leaves it all on the table letting the word of God lead her story and providing biblical context and guidance for any woman curious to know how God can be the leader and source of every need in marriage, motherhood, and business. With minimal fluff, the meat of this book review dives into Dae's favorite chapter, her most challenging chapter, and questions that she still needs answered. Her biggest takeaways were:

  • You can be both an excellent mother, as well as an entrepreneur simultaneously, and promises to teach you how to do that through this book.
  • Multiplying versus multitasking she shares how she has been successful in business with God as her CEO by the challenges you to focus with wisdom on what God wants to multiply specifically through your gifts (the mom bar) Patience propels us into the promise. My challenges I was being how patient do I need to actually be
  • Having a clear vision keeps you from compromising what God has said is for you, and trusting the blueprint he has laid out for you need to be able to know what your obstructions are in this vision.
  • Balance is unrealistic and is really a structure and model that has been pushed in the employee corporate world to make people feel like they are achieving something that they shouldn’t be responsible for.
  • Shares the difference between a strong hold of the enemy, and a strong hold of God interesting concept, considering we only learn about strong holes of the enemy
